Tommy Emmanuel's Malaysia concert CANCELLED!!!

After cancelling concert dates in the Netherlands due to exhaustion and illness, Grammy award nominated guitarist Tommy Emmanuel has been advised to cancel his Australian tour which was to commence on December 24th all the way to Malaysia on the 26th of January. He will return to his home in Nashville, Tennessee immediately to receive treatment for health issues that will require an extended recovery time.

The RM150 ticket i bought.. Lucky got FULL refund..

DAY 1 - Saturday 1st DEC 2007

Depart from KLIA at 10:40pm 30 November 2007.
Arrived at Sydney International Airport at 9:40am 1 December 2007.

Freaking 7 and 1/2 hour flight... Backside also pain ledi..

Didnt sleep in the plane. Actually can't sleep coz so sempit the seat.. sigh..

Suffered jet lag like crazy. Imgine 940am and your freaking tired and have heavy eyes. Well when we landed, my sister came and pick me and my parents up from the airport and drove back to her house which is around 1 hour 15 mins away. She stays at Wollonggong, South of Sydney. The area is called Birch Villa in Corrimal.

Reach home and slept like a pig until afternoon coz of jet lag...

Went out touring to University of Wollonggong, a floral park, and the Wollonggong beach.

DAY 2 - Sunday 2nd DEC 2007

Woke up with backbone ache and neck ache. CRAP!!
Stupid inflatable air bed... got hole and by the next morning the bed is like pancake ledi.. ish!!

Went to my sister's church for the 1030am service. The church is called Lighthouse Church. Man the worship is like concert oni.. SWT!! and as usuall all the songs sang was from hillsongs..

Later in the afternoon took a drive to Sdyney to meet up with my parent's old friend and went for dinner together at a typical chinese restaurant.

DAY 3 - Monday 3rd DEC 2007

Nothing much happen today.. just a little of shopping and HALE STORM!! ahhah first time experiencing it..

Manling Darling.. this is the cap u bought for my burfday this year.. but it's black.. ahhaha.. saw it in a factory outlet in sydney.. hehe 10 aussie only.. hehe

DAY 4 - Tuesday 4th DEC 2007

Woke up early to go to Sdyney Opera House, Harbour Bridge and Bondi Junction..
But so sad didnt go to Bondi Junction beach..

After sight-seeing... Food time..
Went to one of the mall in Bondi Junction for shopping and food of course..


Nessie Chicken, cheese with pineapple burger.. 2 times bigger than McD's


Crepes... With cream and ice cream... gosh it's freaking nice!!

Head back to my sister's house and later went out for dinner... MORE FOOD!! ahahah


Steak Dianna - Steak in a rich and creamy garlic sause served with chips and salad $17.80... that is around RM52.. hehehe...



DAY 5 - Wednesday 5th DEC 2007

Flew over to Melbourne with Virgin Blue.. Took Skybus to the city and settle down at the MayFlower appartment.. Had noodles for lunch in chinatown... Brother came by... Had dinner with Winnie and Tim.. And Both of them brought me walking around Melbourne city..

DAY 6 - Thursday 5th DEC 2007

GREAT OCEAN ROAD!! yea...


First Stop.. Bells Beach.. One Of The World's Famous Serf beach..











I ain't see 12 of them.. lolxx.. 1 of them fell 2 days after my brother last visit them last year.. lolxx..

Loch Ard Gorge

The gorge is named after the clipper ship Loch Ard, which ran aground on nearby Muttonbird Island on 1st June 1878 approaching the end of a 3-month journey from England to Melbourne. 52 people were killed but two 18-year-old survivors, Tom Pearce and Eva Carmichael, were washed into the gorge and found shelter in a cave.











The arch closest to the shoreline collapsed unexpectedly on 15 January 1990, leaving two tourists stranded on the outer part: they were rescued by helicopter. No one was injured in the event. Prior to the collapse, the arch was known as London Bridge because of its similarity to its namesake.







AFter the long almost 5 hour drive along the great ocean road, it's time for some dinner.. we head back to melbourne. Stopped half way at Geelong for dinner. We went touring around geelong, (brother worked here in a hospital before) and then settle down at a Mexican Restaurant.

Went shopping at DFO (Direct Factory Outlet)... w00t... cheap cheap cheap... bought a polo t-shirt only AUD59 & ripcurl slippers AUD10... headed back to apartment.. nothing much done in the afternoon.. mostly rest..

Dinner time!!! went to SOFIA's... wuahahhahahaha....

OMGSH!! look at how high that spaghetti is!! crazy!! and look at how many prawns!!! uncountable man..

DAY 9 - Sunday 9th DEC 2007

A sunday morning... didnt go church.. in need of long rest after the long graduation.. went to Queen Victoria market for some souvenirs and food... later meet up wif Timothy and Paul for some Dim Sum.. Went for a walk around the city.... walk walk and walk... head to Tim's apartment.. and went out for dinner with Tim's friend.. Gracie and Klye.. ahaha no comment.. went back to Tim's apartment for some drink *hint*

Highlight of the day... tried Green Fairy.. thx Tim.. ahahah yumm yummm

DAY 10 - Monday 10th DEC 2007

Went for Korean Food for the first time!! The Restaurant is located along Victoria Street.. ehehhe...

DAY 11 - Tuesday 11th DEC 2007

Went to the other DFO in melbourne by tram.. had dinner one last time at lygon Street.. Tried some Eggplant Chips.. OMGSH!! it's freaking nice.. actually i dun like to eat eggplant wan.. but this is something different man.. it's a must try in lygon street.. ehehehe..

Later in the night, went for some gelati (Italian Ice Cream) with Timothy, Paul, and Winnie. Tried 2 flavors.. Bailey's and Roche.. yummm.. Roche was really good.. thx to winnie's recommendation.. Next time must follow winnie order cup instead of cone.. Coz cone is super messy.. ish.. winnie so smart.. ahhaha bleks...

DAY 12 - Wednesday 12th DEC 2007

Checked out of MayFlower apartment at 10am.. walked to chinatown for some brunch.. then off to the airport.. buy white chocolate for ManLing.. ahaha BLESSED BURFDAY MANLING!! hope u like the white chocolates..
